Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Eden Emulator Game Player (package com.edenemu.gameplayer) on Android. In short: there is no account, your games and saves stay on your device, and the app shows ads from trusted advertising partners who may collect some device data to do so.
No account, no profile
You can use the app without signing up. We do not ask for your name, e-mail address, phone number or any other personal details, and we do not run our own user database.
Your games and files
The app is an emulator only: it comes with no games. You choose a data folder and, optionally, a games folder with Android's own folder picker. The app reads and writes only inside the folders you choose, on your device.
- Your game files, save data, save states, settings and favorites are stored locally on your device.
- They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else.
- You can remove the app's access to a folder at any time in Android's settings, and uninstalling the app deletes the data it keeps in its own storage.
Camera and microphone
Some games use the console's camera or microphone. Only then, Android asks for your permission. The picture and sound are passed to the running game in real time, on your device: they are not recorded, stored or sent anywhere. You can refuse or revoke these permissions; the app keeps working, only those game features won't.
Notifications
The app may ask to show notifications (for example while a game is running). This is optional and you can turn it off in Android's settings.
Advertising
The app is free and is supported by ads. To show and measure ads, it uses these advertising partners, which may collect information from your device such as the advertising ID, device model and operating system, IP address (from which an approximate location can be derived), and how you interact with ads:
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta Audience Network — facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Yandex Mobile Ads — yandex.com/legal/confidential
- Wortise — wortise.com/privacy-policy
- Unity LevelPlay (ironSource) — unity.com/legal
Each partner handles that data under its own privacy policy. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ads personalisation, at any time in Android's Settings › Privacy › Ads (or Google › Ads on some devices).
App settings from our server
When it starts, the app downloads a small settings file from our server (for example which ad partner to use and the app's colors). Like any web request, this request carries technical data such as your IP address and device type, which our hosting provider may keep briefly in security logs. We do not use it to identify you and we do not combine it with other data.
What we do not collect
- No contacts, photos, messages or call logs.
- No precise (GPS) location.
- No contents of your game files or saves.
- No sale of your personal information.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
Security
Data the app keeps stays on your device under Android's app storage protections, and all network requests use encrypted HTTPS connections.
Open source
The emulation core is based on open-source software released under the GNU General Public License (GPL-2.0-or-later). It does not add any data collection of its own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app changes. The date at the top shows the latest version; important changes will be announced in the app or on its store page.
